Rules and restrictions to win the free conference registration:

  • You must be an active member of SMPS Central Florida.
  • All SMPS Central Florida members are eligible to participate.
  • Winner will be announced at the June 2013, Mix, Market and Mingle. You are not required to be present to win.
  • Eligible entries include events held from March 1, 2013 through May 31, 2013.
  • Members must pay for the guest’s registration using the Chapter website to be eligible for an additional entry.
  • Maximum of two entries per event [member plus a guest].
  • New members must have their membership applications processed between March 1, 2013 and May 31, 2013. Membership application must be completed online.
  • Winner will be required to present a conference summary at the annual Best of National Marketing Mechanics.

Face Time! Client Roundtable Forum Recap

DSC_4283The most recent SMPS Program, “Face Time! Client Roundtable Forum,” held on January 29, 2013, at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Orlando, was highly informative and a great success. The program provided attendees with valuable information and insights from five speakers concerning operations and future activity related to Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), the City of Orlando Permitting and Code department, SunRail, the University of Central Florida (UCF), and the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). The conversations revealed upcoming A/E/C project opportunities, addressed how agencies prefer to do business, discussed preferred delivery of services, provided insights for how to be positioned to work with each agency, and many additional insights.

After networking and enjoying breakfast, attendees had the opportunity to move between five tables that were stationed by the various program speakers where they participated in an intimate fifteen minute one-on-one discussion with time for questions and answers with each expert.

All attendees received an executive summary which outlined these key questions and event highlights.
